When I began my private practice 20 years ago, my mission was to provide every patient with excellence in the care of their eyes.  Several years ago, my staff and I put our mission statement in writing:

Our Mission is to provide you with excellence in eye care.

I have been very fortunate in being able to employ an exceptional team of professionals who are dedicated to our practice. Each staff member is an important part of our team. Some of my staff has been with me for over 15 years.

I grew up in the Detroit area but traveled to the University of Utah for my undergraduate studies, where I graduated cum laude. I returned to Detroit and received my Medical degree from Wayne State University.  I received my specialty training in Ophthalmology at Sinai Hospital in Detroit.

I am on the staff of Beaumont Hospitals, the Detroit Medical Centers and Truvista Surgery Center.

As a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, I am committed to continuing my education to stay up-to-date on the best surgical techniques and procedures available. I regularly attend national, as well as regional training courses, in all areas of Ophthalmology.
